Bio

Rachel Korzeb (b. 1987) will be receiving her M.F.A. in painting in 2025, from Savannah College of Art and Design, SCADnow.  A native of Massachusetts, she received her B.F.A. in studio for interrelated media in 2009 from Massachusetts College of Art and Design, in Boston. Derived from fragments of written narrative by the imagination of the artist, Korzeb constructs lyrically collaged paintings, layered with symbolism and riddled with dualities. Using primarily acrylic paint, but in conjunction with other mediums, symbols are embedded in various ways throughout the canvas. Having exhibited in multiple group exhibitions in the past, a solo thesis exhibition is to be held in February, 2025. Korzeb currently lives and works in Jacksonville, FL.
